Studio Bimbi is the lovechild of two Toronto-based industrial designers, Paul Doherty and Jiyeon Hong. When working with them on the wordmark for their new studio, we referenced the title sequence for the 2018 film Suspiria and the work of Saul Bass.
When creating this unique logo for this small furniture design company, it was essential to focus on differentiation and the company's core values. I started by delving into the company's design philosophy and what sets it apart from competitors. I considered elements such as the materials used, design styles, and the overall customer experience.
